Staying with Granny and Grandad at their new north Oxford home had a special perk - being only a few minutes drive from Cuttleslowe Park. A very nice park, with a lots of grass, a lovely play area and some bird and animal display, what makes Cuttleslowe special beyond compare is the Miniature Railway. Built and maintained by the The City of Oxford Society of Model Engineers, are a set of beautifully crafted, built to scale, working models of steam engines, which pull carriages on which we can drive. What better holiday treat for our train-mad toddler?
| Grandad bought me a TICKET for the trains (favourite word of the day) | Hmmm, I hope they know I haven't driven one before... |
| I went on the train with Daddy | And with Grandad - this driver made it go REALLY fast - it was great! |
| I also went with Granny, Aunty Janette, Simeon and Toby | |
| And again with Grandad and Simeon | |
| And again with Daddy & Uncley Andy & Simeon | Oh, and also with Amma |
| I think I went most often with Grandad, though. | Looking wistfully at the trains before leaving... |
